Robbie Sheldon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Ott having to interfere. After some careless play in the Dwight defense, Elvis Baron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ryan Slaughter. The Dwight fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ryan Slaughter should have stopped the shot. Elvis Baron scored 0-2 in the 32nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ryan Slaughter, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Dwight's Trent Rasmussen got a free kick in the 35th minute. Elvis Baron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Dwight's goal looked a bit too open when Adolfo Alden came free, but Ryan Slaughter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jacob Brower made a kick off. If Adolfo Alden had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. Ryan Slaughter tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 62nd minute Elvis Baron shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ryan Slaughter saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 64th match minute, Dwight was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee Fountain to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Dwight getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Randolph Marion hit a great ball. Jacob Brower recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Dwight's goalkeeper Ryan Slaughter, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Adolfo Alden might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ryan Slaughter. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Adolfo Alden ran back to his position shaking his head. Adolfo Alden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 79 minutes into the match, Albuquerque's goal looked a bit too open when Robbie Sheldon came free, but Grant Ott reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 82 minutes into the match, Dwight's goal looked a bit too open when Elvis Baron came free, but Ryan Slaughter reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stuart McNally fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Ott having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Adolfo Alden got free with Ryan Slaughter in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grant Ott showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robbie Sheldon in the 93rd minute of the match. If Robbie Sheldon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albuquerque's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
