When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zachery Hopkins made a kick off. Brackenridge were awarded a corner in the 53th minute after Whitefish's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Domenico Belanger took the corner. The corner ended in Domenico Belanger almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Whitefish's Kory Wright did a great save. Kory Wright stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ali Daugherty's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Whitefish's Troy Barron got a free kick in the 62nd minute. A hard shot 65 in the game by Zachery Hopkins from a close distance when the talented Berry Mohr managed to make a qualified save. Brackenridge's players were relieved. When Zachery Hopkins fell near the penalty area in the 71st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Whitefish's protests and gave Zachery Hopkins a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Brackenridge booed when Whitefish was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zachery Hopkins didn't get a good kick on the ball. 0-2 became the score in the 74th minute when Palmer Snyder elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Kory Wright showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ali Daugherty, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. The long shot by Clark Goins in the 81st minute really tested Berry Mohr's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kory Wright made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ali Daugherty in the 83rd minute of play. The Whitefish players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
