Antoine Hopkins recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Alfredo Chin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tim Anderson was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Tim Anderson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Hopkins in the 10th minute of play. Alec Youngblood hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, ojinaga chihuahua's Mel Bender got a free kick in the 12th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Antoine Hopkins in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tim Anderson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cleveland AFC's Seth MacFarland got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Antoine Hopkins sped through Cleveland AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tim Anderson. Tim Anderson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antoine Hopkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antoine Hopkins to strike the kick off in the second half. Kevin MacDonald kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Cleveland AFC's Alec Youngblood got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Jason Beckman took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 56th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tim Anderson. Cleveland AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tim Anderson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Antoine Hopkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. In the 62nd minute of the match Jason Beckman shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Anderson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Antoine Hopkins managed to get in a good position for a shot. ojinaga chihuahua's supporters rose to their feet, but Antoine Hopkins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tim Anderson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cleveland AFC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Alec Youngblood hit a great ball. Tim Anderson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antoine Hopkins in the 74th minute of play. The supporters of Cleveland AFC booed when ojinaga chihuahua was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mel Bender didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cleveland AFC's Tim Anderson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antoine Hopkins in the 79th minute of play. In the 80th minute of the match Jason Beckman sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Tim Anderson skillfully saved the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Gustavo Johnston managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cleveland AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gustavo Johnston was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sal Kessler breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Gustavo Johnston had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. ojinaga chihuahua's Antoine Hopkins got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.
