Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. German Stover started the match with the kick off. German Stover sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 8 minutes into the match, Stevenson AFC's goal looked a bit too open when German Stover came free, but Kip Roper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Kip Roper made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paul Landry in the 10th minute. German Stover fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kip Roper having to interfere. Dale Poole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Freeman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Kip Roper took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from German Stover, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Johnathan Freeman in the 27th minute of play forced Charles City AFC's goalkeeper Dale Poole to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Stevenson AFC getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Sydney Finn hit a great ball. Paul Landry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Kip Roper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If German Stover had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kip Roper made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Paul Landry sent off a good shot on target. Devin Stallings hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 47th minute, Paul Landry managed to get in a good position for a shot. Charles City AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Paul Landry was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kip Roper breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Johnathan Freeman made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that German Stover's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kip Roper was relentless in the 52nd minute of the game. Dale Poole stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Johnathan Freeman's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Dale Poole took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Freeman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 62 minutes, Johnathan Freeman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stevenson AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnathan Freeman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Charles City AFC booed when Stevenson AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devin Stallings didn't get a good kick on the ball. 74 minutes into the match, Stevenson AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Paul Landry came free, but Kip Roper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 81st minute, Pete Ledford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Devin Stallings managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stevenson AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Devin Stallings was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dale Poole breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Jacques McNeal took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Dale Poole to make any attempt to save it. The Stevenson AFC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Stevenson AFC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
