Ferdinand Neal hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Glen Bishop showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Sadler in the 17th minute of the match. After 21 minutes of play, Middleton's Fernando Bergstrom made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Alfredo Hightower was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fernando Bergstrom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Alfredo Hightower tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredo Hightower showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fernando Bergstrom in the 42nd minute of the match. In the 44thth minute of the game Gabriel McGee who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Kearney FC's Alfredo Hightower was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernando Sadler to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the game, Fernando Sadler cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Glen Bishop was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fernando Bergstrom who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 67thth minute tested the skills of Alfredo Hightower when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Eli McPherson kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a little luck, Kearney FC's Alfredo Hightower got control of the ball when Fernando Bergstrom tried to sneak it across the goal line. Gabriel McGee sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 95 minutes, Gabriel McGee managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fernando Bergstrom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Middleton players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
