Ari Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed North having to interfere. A hard shot 6 in the game by Ari Harrison from a close distance when the talented Mohammed North managed to make a qualified save. Erlanger FC's players were relieved. If Ari Harrison had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 10 minutes of play, Erlanger FC's Bernardo Shafer made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thurman Sheehan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ari Harrison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mohammed North having to interfere. In the 20th minute, Scot Santiago made a precise shot to the right of Thurman Sheehan. Wayne FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. J.P. Ladd received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Thurman Sheehan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute of the match Alexander Kirkpatrick shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Thurman Sheehan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 33 minutes into the game, one of Wayne FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Rodrigo Braxton's late challenge caught a Wayne FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rodrigo Braxton helped the player get up and apologised. Rodrigo Braxton kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the game, Wilford Smart cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Mohammed North was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernardo Shafer stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Scot Santiago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thurman Sheehan having to interfere. In the 58th minute, Wayne FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Bernardo Shafer fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. After 61 played minutes Wayne FC got a freekick which was hit by Tyrone Mayberry. Thurman Sheehan didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 65th minute, which inside left pole to 1-4. Thurman Sheehan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernardo Shafer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Wayne FC defense, Bernardo Shafer kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Thurman Sheehan. The Wayne FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thurman Sheehan should have stopped the shot. 74 minutes into the match, Erlanger FC's goal looked a bit too open when Wilford Smart came free, but Mohammed North reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 76thth minute of the game Wilford Smart who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Erlanger FC's Mohammed North was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Bernardo Shafer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ari Harrison struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Mohammed North didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wayne FC. 87 minutes into the match, Wayne FC's goalkeeper Thurman Sheehan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Scot Santiago. In the 90th minute, Bernardo Shafer reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Thurman Sheehan. The goal made the score 1-6. Erlanger FC's Mohammed North played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wilford Smart in the 94th minute of play. Mohammed North made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Harrison in the 95th minute of play. If Wilford Smart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
