Asher Childs showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cary Begay in the 42nd minute of the match. The supporters of West Milford booed when Dacula was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carson Gage didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Wilber Ernst to make the kick off.
