The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tracy Stubbs helped the player get up and apologised. After 6 played minutes DeeperCore got a freekick which was hit by Tracy Stubbs. Richie Khan was extremely unlucky when he, in the 10th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. When Holly Hill's Richie Khan in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DeeperCore's goalie prevented a goal. Billy Whitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Dillon in the 19th minute of the match. DeeperCore's Reginald Bryson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save DeeperCore from getting a goal against them. Richie Khan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Billy Whitt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Byron McIntyre, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Tom Bradley received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Reginald Bryson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Byron McIntyre blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Billy Whitt having to make a save.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Richie Khan was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ernest Dillon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Byron McIntyre could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Billy Whitt made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Reggie Benjamin during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 57 minutes into the game, Richie Khan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Holly Hill's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave DeeperCore the free kick. The supporters of DeeperCore booed when Holly Hill was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Richie Khan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Domingo Gray stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Reginald Bryson. 3-0. The audience was convinced that Tom Bradley's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reginald Bryson was relentless in the 70th minute of the game. DeeperCore's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
