In the 17th match minute, DeeperCore was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tracy Stubbs to maneuver through the defense. Christian Vaughn took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 18th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Reginald Bryson. DeeperCore's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 22 minutes into the game, Ernest Dillon cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Francesco Cuevas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Rodger Barber had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jacinto City FC's Clinton Benavides got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Padgett hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. When Davis Stoner fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernest Dillon was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes, DeeperCore's Tim Padgett shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Francesco Cuevas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in DeeperCore reached it. When Clinton Benavides came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Jacinto City FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clinton Benavides couldn't finish the play. Reginald Bryson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodger Barber, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, DeeperCore's Tracy Stubbs got a free kick in the 56th minute. The audience was convinced that Rodger Barber's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Reginald Bryson was relentless in the 59th minute of the game. Francesco Cuevas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Dillon in the 66th minute of the match. Rodger Barber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Reginald Bryson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Reginald Bryson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. DeeperCore's Reginald Bryson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodger Barber in the 96th minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
