In the 10th minute, Trevor Lugo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sidney Albert showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamel Holzer, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. After having played for 14 minutes, Osvaldo Darling managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wrightsboro's supporters crossed their fingers, but Osvaldo Darling was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jamel Holzer struck a weak shot in the 20th minute. Sidney Albert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bethel Acres. Walter McClelland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Dalton Guerrero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Tyler Pagan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bethel Acres's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Wrightsboro the free kick. Tyler Pagan kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Flint Lange charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flint Lange the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 26th match minute, Wrightsboro was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flint Lange to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Bethel Acres's Dalton Guerrero got control of the ball when Osvaldo Darling tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sidney Albert showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Winford Scruggs in the 43rd minute of the match. 48 minutes into the match, Bethel Acres's goalkeeper Dalton Guerrero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Osvaldo Darling. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walter McClelland to make the kick off. If Winford Scruggs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 61st minute Jamel Holzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sidney Albert saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Wrightsboro's Sidney Albert played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamel Holzer in the 63rd minute of play. In the 85th minute, Winford Scruggs got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 90 minutes into the match, Bethel Acres's goal looked a bit too open when Walter McClelland came free, but Dalton Guerrero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 91 minutes into the match, Bethel Acres's Winford Scruggs sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sidney Albert narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wrightsboro's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
