Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Virgilio Pitts made the kick off which started today's match. Stanley's Trenton Overton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Virgilio Pitts in the 3rd minute of play. After 12 played minutes Stanley got a freekick which was hit by Luther Prescott. Virgilio Pitts blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Trenton Overton having to make a save. Julian Schafer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Trenton Norman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Necaxa fans' excitement grew in the 19th match minute when Necaxa's Virgilio Pitts looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Stanley booed when Necaxa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hector Bernard didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute of the match Tracy Beatty sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Julian Schafer skillfully saved the ball. Hector Bernard charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hector Bernard the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 30 minutes into the game, Necaxa's Virgilio Pitts nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Trenton Overton made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. The audience was convinced that Virgilio Pitts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Trenton Overton was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. An unexpectedly hard shot by Virgilio Pitts in the 77th minute of play forced Stanley's goalkeeper Trenton Overton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Francisco Moser during the 81st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Tracy Beatty, 97 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Necaxa's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
