Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Charles Dodge got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute Clay Bright shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lane English saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lane English showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Clay Bright in the 4th minute of the match. Grant Gomez made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Brad Sullivan sent off a good shot on target. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 5th minute of the game. One of Kennett Square:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Icard FC:s goal. Marty Means shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Lane English showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Hurd, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Kennett Square's zone, Brad Sullivan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Grant Gomez came out of the goal and Brad Sullivan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Geraldo Hurd in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lane English prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Lane English showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Riley Keene, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Trinidad Gann hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Icard FC's Lane English played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Hurd in the 28th minute of play. Charles Dodge received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Grant Gomez came out and tried to block the shot, but Charles Dodge slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 33rd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Van Piper during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th match minute, Kennett Square was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Van Piper to maneuver through the defense. Geraldo Hurd kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Brad Sullivan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Grant Gomez having to interfere. Through an outstanding action, after 42 minutes, Grant Gomez successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. If Geraldo Hurd had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kennett Square's Van Piper suffered a concussion after 46 minutes and had to leave the field. After 47 played minutes Icard FC got a freekick which was hit by Bradley Ivey. 48 minutes into the match, Kennett Square's Fred Burr broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Riley Keene made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Charles Dodge in the 53rd minute of play forced Kennett Square's goalkeeper Grant Gomez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grant Gomez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brad Sullivan, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. In the 60th minute Charles Dodge shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Grant Gomez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Brad Sullivan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brad Sullivan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Riley Keene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Brad Sullivan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Icard FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Brad Sullivan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Grant Gomez breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Riley Keene recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Riley Keene took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Lane English to make any attempt to save it. Riley Keene could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Lane English made a huge save. Charles Dodge took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Grant Gomez. Grant Gomez dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Riley Keene managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kennett Square's supporters rose to their feet, but Riley Keene was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lane English breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Icard FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
