Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) West Point's Emanuel Spivey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Benjamin Pujols in the 9th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Corey Burkhart got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Jamal Mejia came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the West Point fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamal Mejia couldn't finish the play. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Baytown FC's goalkeeper Cobi Hahn, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of West Point booed when Baytown FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wallace Rainey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Pujols's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emanuel Spivey read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. Cobi Hahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamal Mejia, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Benjamin Pujols kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Emanuel Spivey. That made the score 1-1 in the 38 minute of play. Corey Burkhart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Emanuel Spivey tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 44th minute by Corey Burkhart got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamal Mejia made a kick off. Ruben Childress recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ruben Childress fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cobi Hahn having to interfere. Emanuel Spivey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wallace Rainey, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. After 65 played minutes, West Point's Juan Marrero shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cobi Hahn came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in West Point reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jamal Mejia in the 67th minute of play forced Baytown FC's goalkeeper Cobi Hahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Baytown FC's zone, Jamal Mejia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cobi Hahn came out of the goal and Jamal Mejia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. It was beautiful to see Baytown FC's Emmitt Link in action when he in the 74th minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! Ruben Childress recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jamal Mejia struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Cobi Hahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Point. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Baytown FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while West Point had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
