In the 8th minute Josiah Wolfe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Noah Lovell saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 16 minutes into the match, Zachary's goal looked a bit too open when Robby Maynard came free, but Thanh Caballero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 17 minutes, Mohammad Chung managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NEWCASTLE UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mohammad Chung was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddie Hester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Thanh Caballero having to interfere. In the 22nd minute, Zachary's Josiah Wolfe ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Noah Lovell. Noah Lovell yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. After having played for 29 minutes, Robby Maynard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. NEWCASTLE UNITED's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robby Maynard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eddie Hester received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Thanh Caballero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Zachary's zone, Mohammad Chung stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thanh Caballero came out of the goal and Mohammad Chung tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Robby Maynard struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Thanh Caballero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for NEWCASTLE UNITED. NEWCASTLE UNITED's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Jesus Allen scored to the left of an out of position Noah Lovell, making the score, 3-0. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Robby Maynard was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Marcus Fuentes made a precise shot to the right of Noah Lovell. NEWCASTLE UNITED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-0. Eddie Hester came free with the goalkeeper in the 60th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Thanh Caballero could save by the left post. In the 63rd match minute, Zachary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Art Kruse to maneuver through the defense. If Robby Maynard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Zachary getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Duncan Hughes hit a great ball. Noah Lovell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcus Fuentes in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute the ball was on its way in behind Zachary's goalkeeper Thanh Caballero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 73 minutes into the match, Robby Maynard notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Zachary's Thanh Caballero. Thanh Caballero was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Robby Maynard blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Thanh Caballero having to make a save. Robby Lockwood hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 83rd minute Robby Maynard shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thanh Caballero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 84 minutes, Robby Lockwood managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zachary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robby Lockwood was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Marcus Fuentes scored 5-1 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noah Lovell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Mohammad Chung could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 93rd minute of the match, but Thanh Caballero made a huge save. Robby Maynard sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Zachary were victorious despite being under pressure from NEWCASTLE UNITED for much of the match.
