Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Douglas Clements got the match started through his kick off. When Logan Levy fell near the penalty area in the 3rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Crowley FC's protests and gave Logan Levy a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, one of Crowley FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Crowley FC. Brad Tilley's late challenge caught a Waverly AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Brad Tilley helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Crowley FC's Brad Tilley got a free kick in the 9th minute. Brad Tilley hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. Travis Dobbins took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Clements, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ollie Tomlinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Douglas Clements's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Travis Dobbins was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. Rolando Rivas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Edward Delong tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Crowley FC's Edward Delong played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Rivas in the 23rd minute of play. After 30 minutes of play Crowley FC's Brad Tilley was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. A collision led to Crowley FC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Brad Tilley hit a great ball. Sung Baxter charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sung Baxter the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 35 played minutes Crowley FC got a freekick which was hit by Sung Baxter. Rolando Rivas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Delong having to interfere. In the 44th minute Rolando Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Delong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rolando Rivas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 60 minutes, Houston Seymour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waverly AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Houston Seymour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute Rolando Rivas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Delong saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Trenton Babcock during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th minute, Trenton Babcock hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ollie Tomlinson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Waverly AFC's goalkeeper Travis Dobbins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ollie Tomlinson. If Rolando Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Waverly AFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Trenton Babcock hit a great ball. Ollie Tomlinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Travis Dobbins having to interfere. Edward Delong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Houston Seymour in the 84th minute of the match. Houston Seymour fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Delong having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ollie Tomlinson got free with Travis Dobbins in the 96th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Waverly AFC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Crowley FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
