Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alberto Gonzales in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Travis Dobbins prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 26thth minute of the game Alberto Gonzales who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Waverly AFC's Travis Dobbins was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Alberto Gonzales received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Travis Dobbins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Travis Dobbins showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jarrod Schmitz in the 29th minute of the match. Waverly AFC's Travis Dobbins played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alberto Gonzales in the 30th minute of play. Travis Dobbins didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jarrod Schmitz went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After 34 minutes, Duane Britton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Haverhill FC and the Waverly AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Waverly AFC booed when Haverhill FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Duane Britton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rolando Rivas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Perry McConnell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Houston Seymour received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Perry McConnell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Haverhill FC's Perry McConnell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save Haverhill FC from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jarrod Schmitz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jarrod Schmitz in the 54th minute of play forced Waverly AFC's goalkeeper Travis Dobbins to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Alberto Gonzales had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Waverly AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Haverhill FC the free kick. After having played for 66 minutes, Rolando Rivas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Waverly AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rolando Rivas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 played minutes Waverly AFC got a freekick which was hit by Kory Gary. Perry McConnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Houston Seymour, who was totally free with the ball in the 75th minute. Waverly AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Houston Seymour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Perry McConnell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rolando Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. Jack Russo's late challenge caught a Haverhill FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jack Russo helped the player get up and apologised. Jack Russo hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. If Rolando Rivas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 92ndth minute of the game Rolando Rivas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Haverhill FC's Perry McConnell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Mario Wilson kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Waverly AFC's Jack Russo broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Haverhill FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
