Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Aidan Forrest took the kick off in the first half of the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Grosse Pointe Woods FC's Max Luna slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sergio Jacobs. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. Markus Michael kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 7thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Colonial's keeper Sergio Jacobs was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 9 played minutes Colonial got a freekick which was hit by Tony Altman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Asher Keyes in the 16th minute of play forced Grosse Pointe Woods FC's goalkeeper Vern Palacios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Max Luna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Jacobs having to interfere. With his leg Sergio Jacobs managed to avoid a goal in the 23rdth minute, when Grosse Pointe Woods FC's Markus Michael fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Markus Michael blasted a shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sergio Jacobs having to make a save. Colonial's Sergio Jacobs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save Colonial from getting a goal against them. Markus Michael who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 33rdth minute tested the skills of Sergio Jacobs when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 35th play minutes Markus Michael shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Sergio Jacobs and just under the crossbar into goal. Max Luna fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sergio Jacobs having to interfere. Markus Michael sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Colonial's defense didn't have a chance, in the 44th minute, when Max Luna scored to the left of an out of position Sergio Jacobs, making the score, 3-0. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Max Luna to strike the kick off in the second half. Dalton King kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. If Max Luna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Colonial defense, Max Luna kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sergio Jacobs. The Colonial fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sergio Jacobs should have stopped the shot. After 71 played minutes Colonial got a freekick which was hit by Alexis Welch. In the 72nd minute Markus Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sergio Jacobs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Asher Keyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 75th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vern Palacios. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asher Keyes ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 77th minute, Claudio Simons hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 78th minute of the match Warner Hong shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vern Palacios showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Colonial's Gilbert Echols got a free kick in the 79th minute. 8-0 became the score in the 83rd minute when Max Luna elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. A collision led to Grosse Pointe Woods FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Marcellus Bowser hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Grosse Pointe Woods FC defense, Asher Keyes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vern Palacios. The Grosse Pointe Woods FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vern Palacios should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Grosse Pointe Woods FC had played much better football throughout.
