Woodrow Godwin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Woodrow Godwin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jose Whittaker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Errol Carlton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dane Locke, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. In the 30th minute, one of East Lansdowne:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for East Lansdowne. Jose Whittaker placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Woodrow Godwin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Landon Middleton in the 34th minute of the match. In the 35th minute Jose Whittaker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Woodrow Godwin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Woodrow Godwin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Landon Middleton's shot from short distance in the 37th minute. East Lansdowne's Woodrow Godwin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 43rd minute of the match, managed to save East Lansdowne from getting a goal against them. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

51 minutes into the match, Jordan Marcus notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of East Lansdowne's Woodrow Godwin. Woodrow Godwin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 54 minutes, Landon Middleton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pontotoc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Landon Middleton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Pontotoc defense, Grant Pepper kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Errol Carlton. The Pontotoc fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Errol Carlton should have stopped the shot. Armando Mayfield sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Landon Middleton struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Woodrow Godwin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pontotoc. Jordan Marcus recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute, Jordan Marcus ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Woodrow Godwin was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Jordan Marcus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Woodrow Godwin having to interfere. Jose Whittaker blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Woodrow Godwin having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Jordan Marcus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pontotoc's supporters rose to their feet, but Jordan Marcus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Woodrow Godwin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 84th minute, Landon Middleton got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jordan Marcus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Woodrow Godwin having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in East Lansdowne's zone, Armando Mayfield stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Woodrow Godwin came out of the goal and Armando Mayfield tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 96 minutes, Jose Whittaker made it 6-1 with a short kick to the right side. East Lansdowne's Woodrow Godwin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
