Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ted Blue came out of the goal in the 3rd minute to try and stop a shot by Blue Mound AFC's Marty Crandall. But to his dismay, Marty Crandall quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 6 minutes in the game, Antoine Miranda fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Rickey Lopes having to interfere. In the 10th minute, Lionel Reese hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoine Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luis Brewer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickey Lopes having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Mountain View's Antoine Miranda slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rickey Lopes. That made the score 1-1 after 19 minutes of play. Luis Brewer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Rickey Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julian Heller's late challenge caught a Mountain View's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Julian Heller helped the player get up and apologised. Julian Heller hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Antoine Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 36 minutes, Antoine Miranda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mountain View's supporters crossed their fingers, but Antoine Miranda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the match, Blue Mound AFC's goalkeeper Rickey Lopes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luis Brewer. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rufus Dennis in the 45th minute of play forced Mountain View's goalkeeper Ted Blue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luis Brewer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rickey Lopes having to interfere. In the 47th minute, Manuel Atwood hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Antoine Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 49th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Rufus Dennis to strike the kick off in the second half. Lionel Reese took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rickey Lopes. Rickey Lopes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Mountain View's Luis Brewer in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Blue Mound AFC's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in Mountain View's zone, Rufus Dennis stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ted Blue came out of the goal and Rufus Dennis tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Miles Crozier kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. Luis Brewer recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 74th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mountain View's Luis Brewer got a good chance for a goal in the 80th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Blue Mound AFC's Rickey Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luis Brewer in the 82nd minute of play. Luis Brewer sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Antoine Miranda received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Rickey Lopes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Antoine Miranda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antoine Miranda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
