Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dan Bearden took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of Madawaska booed when Valdese was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sung Shipley didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dan Bearden was extremely unlucky when he, in the 8th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Dan Bearden sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute Dan Bearden shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Orlando Pickett saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Orlando Pickett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dan Bearden, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. A hard shot 17 in the game by Chad Washington from a close distance when the talented Orlando Pickett managed to make a qualified save. Valdese's players were relieved. In the 21st match minute, Valdese was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Christopher Tripp to maneuver through the defense. Emerson Karros kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Dan Bearden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Chad Washington managed to get in a good position for a shot. Madawaska's supporters rose to their feet, but Chad Washington was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Orlando Pickett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Steven Hearn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Quentin Calderon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincenzo Ward having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 48th minute, Quentin Calderon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Valdese's supporters rose to their feet, but Quentin Calderon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vincenzo Ward breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Quentin Calderon made a kick off. Vincenzo Ward stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Quentin Calderon's shot from short distance in the 54th minute. In the 63rdth minute of the game Chad Washington who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Valdese's Orlando Pickett was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Chad Washington struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Orlando Pickett didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Madawaska. In the 71st minute of the match Murray Morrison shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Orlando Pickett showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 73rd minute, Chad Washington got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdese's Danial Vera shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 83rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Vincenzo Ward but with some difficulty. Valdese's Orlando Pickett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Bearden in the 85th minute of play. Murray Morrison walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
