Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Zephyrhills North's Julio Corey got a good chance for a goal in the 5th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ben Person in the 7th minute of play forced Zephyrhills North's goalkeeper Leo Maurer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Julio Corey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devon Joyner having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Day Heights FC's goalkeeper Devon Joyner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Corey. After 11 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Day Heights FC! In the 16th match minute, Day Heights FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Sargent to maneuver through the defense. In the 17thth minute of the game Trevor Wise who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Day Heights FC's Devon Joyner was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Day Heights FC's goalkeeper Devon Joyner had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Corey. After having played for 26 minutes, Julio Corey managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Zephyrhills North's supporters crossed their fingers, but Julio Corey was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Trevor Wise in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Devon Joyner saved Day Heights FC from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Kenny Blackman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leo Maurer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronald Powers, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. 37 minutes into the match, Day Heights FC's Aurelio Sargent sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leo Maurer narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Trevor Wise made a kick off. Julio Corey struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Devon Joyner didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zephyrhills North. After 57 minutes of play, Zephyrhills North's Julio Corey made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Devon Joyner was left in no man's land by his defense there! Trevor Wise fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Devon Joyner having to interfere. Zephyrhills North's Trevor Wise got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Devon Joyner didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Julio Corey went, in the 65th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. A collision led to Day Heights FC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cliff Stroud hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Day Heights FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 74th minute. Penalty! After a defensive mix-up in Zephyrhills North's zone, Aurelio Sargent stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Leo Maurer came out of the goal and Aurelio Sargent tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Zephyrhills North had won after a very even match.
