Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 5th minute Reyes Daniels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robin Stanford saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 7 minutes, Cruz Coker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muskegon Heights AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cruz Coker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cruz Coker in the 10th minute of play forced Round Rock's goalkeeper Arnoldo Rios to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Cruz Coker's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arnoldo Rios was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. After 14 played minutes Round Rock got a freekick which was hit by Brice Maurer. Arnoldo Rios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cruz Coker, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 21st minute, Round Rock's Reyes Daniels dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Levi McGrath's late challenge caught a Muskegon Heights AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Levi McGrath helped the player get up and apologised. Robin Stanford made an important save on a dangerous shot by Malcolm Schulz in the 26th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Muskegon Heights AFC's goalkeeper Robin Stanford had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Malcolm Schulz. Round Rock's Arnoldo Rios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Monte Jewell in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the match, Cruz Coker had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Rios. Round Rock's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cruz Coker was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Muskegon Heights AFC's Robin Stanford proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Muskegon Heights AFC from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute, Monte Jewell got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Malcolm Schulz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Round Rock's supporters rose to their feet, but Malcolm Schulz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Robin Stanford breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Muskegon Heights AFC's zone, Malcolm Schulz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robin Stanford came out of the goal and Malcolm Schulz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reyes Daniels to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 54 minutes, Cruz Coker managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muskegon Heights AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cruz Coker was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Malcolm Schulz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Round Rock's Hank Rosa suffered a concussion after 57 minutes and had to leave the field. The supporters of Round Rock booed when Muskegon Heights AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kenny Watt didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cruz Coker in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Rios saved Round Rock from getting behind. Malcolm Schulz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reynaldo Covington kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. Malcolm Schulz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Muskegon Heights AFC getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Orville McGee hit a great ball. Malcolm Schulz struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Robin Stanford didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Round Rock. 73 minutes into the match, Round Rock's goalkeeper Arnoldo Rios had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Monte Jewell. Robin Stanford made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malcolm Schulz in the 74th minute of play. Arnoldo Rios stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cruz Coker's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 80th minute, Cruz Coker got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 85 minutes of play, Muskegon Heights AFC's Cruz Coker made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Arnoldo Rios was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Anthony Corley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Muskegon Heights AFC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
