Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alejandro Milligan started the match with the kick off. Merle Webber received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Eusebio Weiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Merle Webber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eusebio Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Hills, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. When Corey Castaneda came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Webster FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Corey Castaneda couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alejandro Milligan in the 19th minute of play forced Santee FC's goalkeeper Frankie Bellamy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alejandro Milligan in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Frankie Bellamy saved Santee FC from getting behind. After having played for 22 minutes, Gerry Hills managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Santee FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerry Hills was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes in the game, Merle Webber fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Eusebio Weiss having to interfere. If Corey Castaneda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Santee FC's Frankie Bellamy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bradley Cronin in the 38th minute of play. 46 minutes into the game, Corey Castaneda cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Frankie Bellamy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After the first half Webster FC were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Gerry Hills made the kick off in the second half. If Alejandro Milligan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corey Castaneda fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Frankie Bellamy having to interfere. Webster FC's Corey Castaneda got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gerry Hills received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Eusebio Weiss tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 70th minute, Ben Boswell hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Corey Castaneda scored 0-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Frankie Bellamy, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Eusebio Weiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerry Hills, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eusebio Weiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gerry Hills in the 86th minute of play. After 87 minutes, Ben Boswell mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Webster FC and the Santee FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 87 played minutes Webster FC got a freekick which was hit by Ben Boswell. Gerry Hills might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eusebio Weiss. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerry Hills ran back to his position shaking his head. Eusebio Weiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerry Hills, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Gerry Hills left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Santee FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Webster FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
