Brant Gamble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Roscoe Esquivel reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Wilfredo Huggins. The goal made the score 1-0. Domenico Cleveland hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Vern Hilton recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to Tchula AFC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Gregg Hoyt hit a great ball. Hunter Blue took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Brant Gamble, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Brant Gamble had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hunter Blue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brant Gamble in the 42nd minute of play. 49 minutes into the game, Vern Hilton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Hunter Blue was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Vern Hilton made a kick off. Hunter Blue made an important save on a dangerous shot by Brant Gamble in the 55th minute. Brant Gamble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Tchula AFC's zone, Brant Gamble stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hunter Blue came out of the goal and Brant Gamble tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hunter Blue was a little too slow when Vern Hilton got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 1-3. Patrick Schwartz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Wilfredo Huggins tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Patrick Schwartz came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Tchula AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Patrick Schwartz couldn't finish the play. Hunter Blue made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vern Hilton in the 81st minute of play. Falfurrias's Brant Gamble got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vern Hilton in the 88th minute of play forced Tchula AFC's goalkeeper Hunter Blue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Brant Gamble received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Hunter Blue tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hunter Blue made a fantastic save in the 99th minute, when Brant Gamble sent off a good shot on target. When the match was over Falfurrias could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Tchula AFC throughout the match.
