Marc McIntyre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Charlton Burrows tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Marc McIntyre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marc McIntyre in the 7th minute of play forced New Buffalo's goalkeeper Charlton Burrows to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of New Buffalo booed when Missouri Valley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc McIntyre didn't get a good kick on the ball. Missouri Valley's Marc Larkin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chance Larsen in the 14th minute of play. Marc Larkin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chance Larsen in the 22nd minute of the match. New Buffalo's Charlton Burrows played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marc McIntyre in the 23rd minute of play. In the 29th match minute, New Buffalo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kirby Nunn to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Marc Larkin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simon Landis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the game, Roberto Boone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Missouri Valley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave New Buffalo the free kick. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Chance Larsen had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Boyd Diggs fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marc Larkin having to interfere. After some careless play in the New Buffalo defense, Jed McGinnis kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Charlton Burrows. The New Buffalo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Charlton Burrows should have stopped the shot. 78 minutes into the match, Chance Larsen notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Missouri Valley's Marc Larkin. Marc Larkin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 85th minute, Boyd Diggs managed to get in a good position for a shot. New Buffalo's supporters rose to their feet, but Boyd Diggs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marc Larkin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Chance Larsen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Marc Larkin made a huge save. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
