The audience thought a goal was coming when Alec Orozco got free with Luke Tharp in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luke Tharp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hunter Fitzpatrick in the 35th minute of play. Dwayne Gagne kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Alec Orozco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Luke Tharp tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Hunter Fitzpatrick made the kick off in the second half. Luke Tharp showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noah Coyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute.
