Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Casey Hong kicked off to start the match. When Eliseo Looney came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Detroit Lakes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseo Looney couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Detroit Lakes FC's Max Arredondo got a free kick in the 8th minute. 13 minutes into the match, Detroit Lakes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Ramey came free, but Alfred Lehman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Casey Hong came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Northwest Harborcreek fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Casey Hong couldn't finish the play. If Casey Hong had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Whitney Silva notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Detroit Lakes FC's Alfred Lehman. Alfred Lehman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 28th minute, Casey Hong got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Eliseo Looney had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Eliseo Looney kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Garrett Bustamante. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Garrett Bustamante showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Duane Toney in the 58th minute of the match. Detroit Lakes FC's Alfred Lehman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 61st minute of the match, managed to save Detroit Lakes FC from getting a goal against them. Whitney Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Alfred Lehman made a huge save. Casey Hong was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 64th minute. Northwest Harborcreek's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Casey Hong sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 69 minutes into the match, Northwest Harborcreek's Sandy Fitzpatrick sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfred Lehman narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alfred Lehman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casey Hong in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 74th minute, Casey Hong hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Eliseo Looney fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garrett Bustamante having to interfere. When Kurtis Craig fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Detroit Lakes FC's protests and gave Kurtis Craig a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 79 minutes, Sandy Fitzpatrick managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northwest Harborcreek's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sandy Fitzpatrick was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Hong in the 84th minute of play forced Detroit Lakes FC's goalkeeper Alfred Lehman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sandy Fitzpatrick sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Whitney Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Garrett Bustamante took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Oren Malone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Detroit Lakes FC booed when Northwest Harborcreek was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sandy Fitzpatrick didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle sounded Northwest Harborcreek left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Detroit Lakes FC.
