Tuan Green hit a great ball. Ulysses Alston got in the 6th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Loren Stover handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. University Gardens's Teddy Conrad got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ulysses Alston could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Loren Stover made a huge save. 11 minutes into the match, Tadeo's goalkeeper Loren Stover had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ulysses Alston. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulysses Alston in the 13th minute of play forced Tadeo's goalkeeper Loren Stover to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rene Wood in the 14th minute of play forced University Gardens's goalkeeper Bronson Strange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bronson Strange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Curtis Newton in the 16th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Ulysses Alston's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Loren Stover was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. University Gardens's Jeffrey Trotter got a good chance for a goal in the 18th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Teddy Conrad took the ball and in the 20 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Loren Stover. Loren Stover dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a defensive mix-up in Tadeo's zone, Ulysses Alston stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Loren Stover came out of the goal and Ulysses Alston tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jeffrey Trotter came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the University Gardens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffrey Trotter couldn't finish the play. Ulysses Alston struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Loren Stover didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for University Gardens. Jeffrey Trotter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Loren Stover tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Teddy Conrad came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the University Gardens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Teddy Conrad couldn't finish the play. Felipe Neff blasted a shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Loren Stover having to make a save. In the 45th minute Rene Wood shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bronson Strange saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Loren Stover showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anson Boudreaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Tadeo's goal looked a bit too open when Ulysses Alston came free, but Loren Stover reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.
Lionel Jarrell lost his temper 52 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 51st minute, one of University Gardens:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for University Gardens. Ulysses Alston kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Loren Stover showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teddy Conrad in the 60th minute of the match. If Jeffrey Trotter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, University Gardens's Ulysses Alston got a free kick in the 66th minute. When Jeffrey Trotter came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the University Gardens fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeffrey Trotter couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Teddy Conrad managed to get in a good position for a shot. University Gardens's supporters rose to their feet, but Teddy Conrad was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Loren Stover breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When University Gardens's Anson Boudreaux in the 73rd minute got a chance for a shot 73rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tadeo's goalie prevented a goal. Anson Boudreaux charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Loren Stover came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by University Gardens's Jeffrey Trotter. But to his dismay, Jeffrey Trotter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Ulysses Alston charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ulysses Alston the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 83rd match minute, University Gardens was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ulysses Alston to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rene Wood got free with Bronson Strange in the 87th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teddy Conrad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Loren Stover having to interfere. If Anson Boudreaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Justin Burnham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Teddy Conrad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 98th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that University Gardens were the better team. University Gardens's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
