Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rupert Bailey started the match with the kick off. Cason Cameron shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Tyler Mendez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nigel Wolf having to interfere. Tyler Mendez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Grady Croft got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Lordstown AFC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Travis Emerson hit a great ball. Aspen's Ramiro Talbot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Aspen from getting a goal against them. Ramiro Talbot made an important save on a dangerous shot by Grady Croft in the 30th minute. Ramiro Talbot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rupert Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grady Croft struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Ramiro Talbot didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lordstown AFC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rupert Bailey in the 37th minute of play forced Aspen's goalkeeper Ramiro Talbot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rupert Bailey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramiro Talbot having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Grady Croft fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Ramiro Talbot, passed just outside the right post. After 43 played minutes Rupert Bailey rounded Aspen's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Tyler Mendez made the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rashad Perez in the 55th minute of play forced Lordstown AFC's goalkeeper Nigel Wolf to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Lordstown AFC's Nigel Wolf got control of the ball when Woody Crowell tried to sneak it across the goal line. Woody Crowell blasted a shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nigel Wolf having to make a save. Grady Croft received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ramiro Talbot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 82 played minutes Aspen got a freekick which was hit by Randy Nixon. Ramiro Talbot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grady Croft in the 86th minute of the match. Rupert Bailey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tyler Mendez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Nigel Wolf tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Lordstown AFC had won after a very even match.
