The wind increased when Monroe Saunders made the kick off in the second half. Art Luther kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Louie Gunn fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernardo White having to interfere. When the match clock showed 83 minutes, the score became 1-3 when Monroe Saunders sped through Puyallup's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bernardo White. Lionel Guerrero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geoffrey Tidwell in the 87th minute. An unexpected shot in the 88th minute by Geoffrey Tidwell got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After having played for 90 minutes, King Means managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
