Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Domenic Chen started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Dennison's Oswaldo Castro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Waylon Cullen made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Felix Stacy hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. After having played for 12 minutes, Domenic Chen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dennison's supporters crossed their fingers, but Domenic Chen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Oswaldo Castro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Marble Falls FC's zone, Earl Osborne stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Waylon Cullen came out of the goal and Earl Osborne tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Domenic Chen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Earl Osborne's late challenge caught a Marble Falls FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Earl Osborne helped the player get up and apologised. In the 29th match minute, Dennison was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Earl Osborne to maneuver through the defense. Anton Teague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristofer Fujieda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexis Stahl fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Anton Teague having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Alexis Stahl got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Domenic Chen's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Waylon Cullen was relentless in the 40th minute of the game. Oswaldo Castro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 43 minutes into the match, Marble Falls FC's goal looked a bit too open when Domenic Chen came free, but Waylon Cullen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Oswaldo Castro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Ward Patterson fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marble Falls FC's protests and gave Ward Patterson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 47th minute, Ward Patterson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kristofer Fujieda to make the kick off. A collision led to Dennison getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Felix Stacy hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the game, Oswaldo Castro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Waylon Cullen was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Domenic Chen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Anton Teague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alexis Stahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute Domenic Chen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Waylon Cullen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Alexis Stahl had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Willard Esquivel during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Marble Falls FC getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Willard Esquivel hit a great ball. When Alexis Stahl came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Marble Falls FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexis Stahl couldn't finish the play. Oswaldo Castro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Waylon Cullen having to interfere. Waylon Cullen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenic Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Preston Heller hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Oswaldo Castro blasted a shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waylon Cullen having to make a save. Waylon Cullen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Domenic Chen, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Waylon Cullen came out of the goal in the 97th minute to try and stop a shot by Dennison's Oswaldo Castro. But to his dismay, Oswaldo Castro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. The Marble Falls FC supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Dennison's performance. The match ended with a win for Dennison.
