Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Mitch Belanger kicked off to start the match. Charlton Zepeda recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 3rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 5 minutes, Charlton Zepeda managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ashton FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Charlton Zepeda was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Walton Jensen came up free with the goalie in the 6th minute, the Ashton FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Walton Jensen couldn't finish the play. In the 11th minute Russell Benson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gerard Bauer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gerard Bauer didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Russell Benson went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Walton Jensen received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Gerard Bauer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Walton Jensen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Walton Jensen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Walton Jensen might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gerard Bauer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Walton Jensen ran back to his position shaking his head. Gerard Bauer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Charlton Zepeda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 60 played minutes Webster City got a freekick which was hit by Grant Lyons. A collision led to Ashton FC getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Walton Jensen hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Russell Benson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Gerard Bauer. That made the score 0-2 in the 72 minute of play. Gerard Steiner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arnoldo Kirk having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Charlton Zepeda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ashton FC and the Webster City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Charlton Zepeda kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. Charlton Zepeda sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Webster City's Gerard Bauer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walton Jensen in the 88th minute of play. Gerard Bauer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Walton Jensen, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
