After having played for 32 minutes, Jerome DeJesus managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Towanda's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jerome DeJesus was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Drew Busby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pierre Benedict went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Jerome DeJesus managed to get in a good position for a shot. Towanda's supporters rose to their feet, but Jerome DeJesus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joesph Carbajal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 43 played minutes Towanda got a freekick which was hit by Pablo Jameson. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Pierre Benedict stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Mohammed Boyles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Joesph Carbajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jerome DeJesus in the 59th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Mohammed Boyles left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Towanda fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Pablo Jameson hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Drew Busby made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Derick James sent off a good shot on target. If Mohammed Boyles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joesph Carbajal came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Towanda's Mohammed Boyles. But to his dismay, Mohammed Boyles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Virgil De La Cruz got free with Drew Busby in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaiah Walker in the 82nd minute of play forced Towanda's goalkeeper Drew Busby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Drew Busby showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Isaiah Walker in the 83rd minute of the match. Jerome DeJesus fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joesph Carbajal having to interfere. In the 87th minute, Mastic FC's Pierre Benedict ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Drew Busby. Drew Busby yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-3. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Mastic FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
