Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Bruce Person took the kick off in the first half of the match. Omurtag Savkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 2nd minute. Craig Egan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ollie Whitehead fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without DeAndre MacKenzie having to interfere. DeAndre MacKenzie took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bruce Person, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Djurgardens IF's DeAndre MacKenzie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Person in the 7th minute of play. In the 8th match minute, Arab was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Phil Fortune to maneuver through the defense. Craig Egan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Greg Randle in the 9th minute of play. Craig Egan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darin Yeats went, in the 14th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Djurgardens IF's DeAndre MacKenzie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruce Person in the 20th minute of play. Arab's Craig Egan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omurtag Savkov in the 23rd minute of play. Marty McKinnon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without DeAndre MacKenzie having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bruce Person in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg DeAndre MacKenzie saved Djurgardens IF from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Omurtag Savkov in the 32nd minute of play forced Arab's goalkeeper Craig Egan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ollie Whitehead received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. DeAndre MacKenzie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Djurgardens IF's Greg Randle got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Mohammad Fitzpatrick recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Craig Egan. Mohammad Fitzpatrick showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 46 minutes into the match, Arab's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Fitzpatrick came free, but Craig Egan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Omurtag Savkov to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arab's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Mohammad Fitzpatrick was slow to take the kick. During this time Djurgardens IF's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Darin Yeats got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Craig Egan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 63 played minutes Arab got a freekick which was hit by Roger Whatley. In the 65th minute Darin Yeats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Craig Egan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Djurgardens IF's DeAndre MacKenzie proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Djurgardens IF from getting a goal against them. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ruben Alston during the 69th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Djurgardens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Alston to maneuver through the defense. Craig Egan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mohammad Fitzpatrick in the 71st minute of play. A collision led to Arab getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Antoine Anthony hit a great ball. Arab's Craig Egan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Omurtag Savkov in the 79th minute of play. In the 81st match minute, Djurgardens IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ruben Alston to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Arab defense, Greg Randle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Craig Egan. The Arab fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Craig Egan should have stopped the shot. Ollie Whitehead fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without DeAndre MacKenzie having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Djurgardens IF had won after a very even match.
