In the 15thth minute of the game Vicente Descoteaux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hurstbourne's Elliot Merchant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Hurstbourne's Elliot Merchant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vicente Descoteaux in the 17th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hurstbourne's Allan Emery got a free kick in the 19th minute. The Real Madrid fans' excitement grew in the 21st match minute when Real Madrid's Vicente Descoteaux looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hurstbourne's goalkeeper Elliot Merchant, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 27th minute, Vicente Descoteaux made a precise shot to the right of Elliot Merchant. Hurstbourne's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Hurstbourne's Elliot Merchant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andy Sherrill in the 31st minute of play. In the 37th minute, Scotty Vasquez got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mikolaj Chazon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacob Darby, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Vicente Descoteaux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elliot Merchant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andy Sherrill in the 66th minute of the match. Scotty Vasquez in the 70thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Elliot Merchant, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. If Vicente Descoteaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Scotty Vasquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Garry Tinsley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dante Frantzes during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Dante Frantzes hit a great ball. Mikolaj Chazon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Allan Emery in the 82nd minute of play. When the match was over Real Madrid could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Hurstbourne throughout the match.
