Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Shively AFC's Douglass Dye got a free kick in the 4th minute. 5 minutes into the match, Stanton AFC's Logan Hankins broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Rupert Hurley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th match minute, Stanton AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lance Bledsoe to maneuver through the defense. 16 minutes into the game, Genaro Luther was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shively AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Stanton AFC the free kick. If Johnny Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Genaro Luther in the 28th minute of play forced Stanton AFC's goalkeeper Kasey Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Moran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garrett Groves having to interfere. If Rupert Hurley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Toby Olsen kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Johnny Moran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Genaro Luther received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Kasey Boone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 49th minute, Scott Keen made a precise shot to the right of Garrett Groves. Shively AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Genaro Luther made a kick off. Johnny Moran sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Johnny Moran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 60th minute of the match, but Garrett Groves made a huge save. Rupert Hurley took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kasey Boone. Kasey Boone dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. When Isidro Duran fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Stanton AFC's protests and gave Isidro Duran a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 played minutes Stanton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Isidro Duran. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Stanton AFC's goalkeeper Kasey Boone, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Genaro Luther sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpected shot in the 82nd minute by Lloyd Aldridge got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After 84 played minutes Shively AFC got a freekick which was hit by Keith Kendrick. After a rather tough play, Shively AFC's Benjamin Flaherty got a free kick in the 86th minute. Johnny Moran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Garrett Groves having to interfere. Despite being the better team, Stanton AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
