The supporters of Turley AFC booed when Stanton AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Randell Godfrey didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sidney Simms blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Kasey Boone having to make a save. Sidney Simms scored 1-0 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Kasey Boone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Teddy Hinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sidney Simms got free with Kasey Boone in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Teddy Hinson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kasey Boone having to interfere. When Johnny Moran came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Stanton AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Johnny Moran couldn't finish the play. In the 40th minute, Scott Keen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Teddy Hinson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Johnny Moran fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eduardo Roach having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Lloyd Aldridge made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Stanton AFC's Scott Keen got a free kick in the 53rd minute. In the 55thth minute of the game Teddy Hinson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stanton AFC's Kasey Boone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sidney Simms came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Turley AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sidney Simms couldn't finish the play. After some careless play in the Stanton AFC defense, Teddy Hinson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kasey Boone. The Stanton AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kasey Boone should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Turley AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Lloyd Aldridge came free, but Eduardo Roach reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Turley AFC's Marcus Conklin got a free kick in the 63rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnny Moran got free with Eduardo Roach in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Stanton AFC's Kasey Boone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sidney Simms in the 66th minute of play. Kasey Boone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teddy Hinson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lance Bledsoe hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teddy Hinson in the 82nd minute of play forced Stanton AFC's goalkeeper Kasey Boone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 85thth minute of the game Sidney Simms who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Stanton AFC's Kasey Boone was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Sidney Simms managed to get in a good position for a shot. Turley AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Sidney Simms was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kasey Boone breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 92 played minutes Stanton AFC got a freekick which was hit by Randell Godfrey. Teddy Hinson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Kasey Boone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sidney Simms sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the referee ended the match the Turley AFC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
