Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tad Wells made the kick off which started today's match. Abdul Kruse in the 4thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Byron Bowden, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 5 minutes into the game, Marty Hastings was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monte Sereno's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Coram the free kick. In the 5th minute, Marty Hastings hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Abdul Kruse had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 11 minutes, Tad Wells managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Monte Sereno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tad Wells was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Abdul Kruse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Byron Bowden tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Tad Wells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Monte Sereno's Tad Wells in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Coram's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Monte Sereno getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Ali Barbour hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Rhett Pearce sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Wilbert Pritchett skillfully saved the ball. Monte Sereno's Wilbert Pritchett played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince LoDuca in the 32nd minute of play. Tad Wells did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Byron Bowden 39 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vince LoDuca was the one to do the kick off. Abdul Kruse blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Byron Bowden having to make a save. Byron Bowden showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abdul Kruse, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. When Tad Wells came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Monte Sereno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tad Wells couldn't finish the play. Wilbert Pritchett made an important save on a dangerous shot by Johnny Burris in the 59th minute. After having played for 62 minutes, Johnny Burris managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coram's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnny Burris was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Johnny Burris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilbert Pritchett having to interfere. 69 minutes into the match, Monte Sereno's Tad Wells sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Byron Bowden narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilbert Pritchett showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vince LoDuca, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Johnny Burris got free with Wilbert Pritchett in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. If Tad Wells had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tad Wells struck a weak shot in the 81st minute. Byron Bowden didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Monte Sereno. Abdul Kruse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th match minute, Coram was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dudley Friend to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, Coram's goal looked a bit too open when Abdul Kruse came free, but Byron Bowden reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Abdul Kruse had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Byron Bowden. Coram's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Abdul Kruse was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. 89 minutes into the match, Monte Sereno's goalkeeper Wilbert Pritchett had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Johnny Burris. After a rather tough play, Monte Sereno's Eliseo Moon got a free kick in the 90th minute. Coram's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
