Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Edmundo Spence kicked off to start the match. Reyes Dickens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weldon Mendoza having to interfere. Eldon Hensley recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Gordon Jacques hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gregorio Gomez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Weldon Mendoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 14th minute of the game. One of Wales AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pine Island:s goal. In the 19th minute of the game, Adolfo Santiago landed unfortunately after trying to head the ball, and pulled a muscle in the back, so badly that he had to leave the field. After 19 played minutes Wales AFC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Courtney. Edmundo Spence struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Derrick Lucero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wales AFC. After 29 played minutes Wales AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ace Torrez. Weldon Mendoza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reyes Dickens in the 31st minute of play. Eldon Hensley struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Derrick Lucero didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wales AFC.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Reyes Dickens to strike the kick off in the second half. Eldon Hensley's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Derrick Lucero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 55th minute of play. Stuart Crum charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stuart Crum the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 62 played minutes Pine Island got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Crum. Darryl Bryson was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 63rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Edmundo Spence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Reyes Dickens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 76th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Wales AFC's Weldon Mendoza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Wales AFC from getting a goal against them. Reyes Dickens recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gregorio Gomez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Reyes Dickens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Weldon Mendoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ace Torrez in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Derrick Lucero saved Pine Island from getting behind. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Pine Island players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
