In the 3rd minute, Edmundo Spence got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A collision led to Wales AFC getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Vicente Courtney hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the match, Eldon Hensley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Tomas Herron. Berrien Springs's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eldon Hensley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Tomas Herron made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eldon Hensley in the 23rd minute. Edmundo Spence fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tomas Herron having to interfere. Duncan Rossi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Weldon Mendoza having to interfere. Duncan Rossi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Duncan Rossi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the game, Berrien Springs's Keenan Beebe nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Weldon Mendoza made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edmundo Spence made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Berrien Springs's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Spence came free, but Tomas Herron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wales AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 57th minute, when Keenan Beebe scored to the left of an out of position Weldon Mendoza, making the score, 2-3. If Keenan Beebe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Wales AFC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Ace Torrez hit a great ball. Keenan Beebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Weldon Mendoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Weldon Mendoza came out of the goal in the 76th minute to try and stop a shot by Berrien Springs's Duncan Rossi. But to his dismay, Duncan Rossi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. The audience thought a goal was coming when Duncan Rossi got free with Weldon Mendoza in the 80th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Keenan Beebe received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Weldon Mendoza tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vicente Courtney kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Weldon Mendoza made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Duncan Rossi sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Duncan Rossi reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Weldon Mendoza. The goal made the score 2-6. Tomas Herron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eldon Hensley in the 91st minute of the match. In the 94th minute Eldon Hensley shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tomas Herron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Wales AFC booed when Berrien Springs was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerry Bland didn't get a good kick on the ball. Berrien Springs's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
