Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute Trey Bates shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquin Colby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Brendon Edmondson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Joaquin Colby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gilbert Löfgren fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquin Colby having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Brendon Edmondson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquin Colby was relentless in the 13th minute of the game. Trey Bates received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joaquin Colby came out and tried to block the shot, but Trey Bates slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 21st minute. Gilbert Löfgren might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Joaquin Colby. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gilbert Löfgren ran back to his position shaking his head. Gilbert Löfgren struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Joaquin Colby didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dorchester Select. After having played for 26 minutes, Gilbert Löfgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dorchester Select's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gilbert Löfgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 31 minutes into the match, Dorchester Select's goal looked a bit too open when Chase Platt came free, but Quinton Santos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Brendon Edmondson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miami SC's Joaquin Colby proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Miami SC from getting a goal against them. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Brendon Edmondson to make the kick off. Louis Izturis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Quinton Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Miami SC's Joaquin Colby played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Brendon Edmondson in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute, Gilbert Löfgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brendon Edmondson in the 57th minute of play forced Miami SC's goalkeeper Joaquin Colby to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute, Brendon Edmondson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joaquin Colby was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. After 67 minutes, Gilbert Löfgren mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Dorchester Select and the Miami SC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 68 played minutes Dorchester Select got a freekick which was hit by Gilbert Löfgren. Otto Knox could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Quinton Santos made a huge save. In the 73rd minute of the match Miami SC got a corner. Dorchester Select's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. William Woodward ran over to the corner to take the kick. Brandon Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quinton Santos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sandy Schafer in the 77th minute. In the 84th minute Dorchester Select were awarded a corner. Jeremiah Woodward went to the cornerflag to take it. Rex Beck thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Joaquin Colby, a very annoying self made goal in the 84th minute which led to 4-0. Quinton Santos didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 95th minute, which inside left pole to 4-1. There was no doubt that Dorchester Select were the better team. Dorchester Select's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
