Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Darius Bergstrom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Collin Christie read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 4th minute of play. Darius Bergstrom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Collin Christie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marshall Harden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Collin Christie having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Mount Ivy's Raymundo Faulkner got a free kick in the 9th minute. Marshall Harden fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Collin Christie having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marshall Harden in the 19th minute of play forced Mount Ivy's goalkeeper Collin Christie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milan Barbour in the 22nd minute of play forced La Salle FC's goalkeeper Willard Biggs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute Stephan Kitchen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Willard Biggs saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Willard Biggs came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Mount Ivy's Stephan Kitchen. But to his dismay, Stephan Kitchen quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. After having played for 35 minutes, Milan Barbour managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mount Ivy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Milan Barbour was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37thth minute of the game Stephan Kitchen who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but La Salle FC's Willard Biggs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 41 minutes, Bernie Thacker mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mount Ivy and the La Salle FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mount Ivy getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Bernie Thacker hit a great ball. Milan Barbour sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Willard Biggs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stephan Kitchen's shot from short distance in the 49th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Marshall Harden made a kick off. Collin Christie made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marshall Harden in the 53rd minute of play. Darius Bergstrom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 63 minutes into the match, Darius Bergstrom notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Mount Ivy's Collin Christie. Collin Christie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Collin Christie showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marshall Harden in the 68th minute of the match. Stephan Kitchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 75 played minutes La Salle FC got a freekick which was hit by Rick Triplett. When Milan Barbour came up free with the goalie in the 76th minute, the Mount Ivy fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Milan Barbour couldn't finish the play. Marshall Harden recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marshall Harden received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Collin Christie tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Darius Bergstrom took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Collin Christie. Collin Christie dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 92nd minute, Marshall Harden managed to get in a good position for a shot. La Salle FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Marshall Harden was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Collin Christie breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. La Salle FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
