Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Emanuel Denne started the match with the kick off. Gerardo Poole kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benny Hinkle in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rigoberto Burns saved Cartersville from getting behind. In the 11th match minute, Chenoweth was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Francis to maneuver through the defense. Cartersville's Archie Boyle got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Joshua Fountain came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Chenoweth fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Joshua Fountain couldn't finish the play. In the 26th match minute, Cartersville was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rocco Cisneros to maneuver through the defense. In the 28th minute, Emanuel Denne fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 31st minute Emanuel Denne shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Monte Spicer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th play minute Archie Boyle came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Monte Spicer. 1-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Archie Boyle got free with Monte Spicer in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Scottie Hedrick managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cartersville's supporters rose to their feet, but Scottie Hedrick was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Monte Spicer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Archie Boyle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Monte Spicer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ben Cullen's late challenge caught a Cartersville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ben Cullen helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Chenoweth's Ben Cullen got a free kick in the 47th minute.

Monte Spicer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Archie Boyle in the 56th minute of play. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Chenoweth's goalkeeper Monte Spicer, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Emanuel Denne recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Chenoweth's zone, Archie Boyle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Monte Spicer came out of the goal and Archie Boyle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Chenoweth's Monte Spicer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Denne in the 75th minute of play. Archie Boyle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Emanuel Denne had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Monte Spicer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Archie Boyle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emanuel Denne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Monte Spicer having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Benny Hinkle fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Rigoberto Burns, passed just outside the right post. After some careless play in the Chenoweth defense, Gerardo Poole kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Monte Spicer. The Chenoweth fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Monte Spicer should have stopped the shot.
