Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Andy Noble took the kick off in the first half of the match. The supporters of South Salt Lake FC booed when Wallington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoffrey Webster didn't get a good kick on the ball. Geoffrey Webster hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. In the 8th minute of the match Colby Bowden shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Allen Godfrey showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Andy Noble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Don Easley having to interfere. Denny Lucero struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Don Easley didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wallington. Andy Noble sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Glenn Deal kicked well hit freekick during the 15th minute of the match. Allen Godfrey showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Dietz in the 18th minute of the match. The supporters of South Salt Lake FC booed when Wallington was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Young Dominguez didn't get a good kick on the ball. South Salt Lake FC's Colby Bowden couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Wallington. In the 25th minute, Calvin Dietz made a precise shot to the right of Allen Godfrey. Wallington's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 28th minute, Murray Pennington hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Wallington's Andy Noble in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye South Salt Lake FC's goalie prevented a goal. Wallington's Allen Godfrey played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jarrod Roberts in the 33rd minute of play. In the 35th minute, Jarrod Roberts ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Allen Godfrey was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 41 minutes into the match, Wallington's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Deal came free, but Allen Godfrey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jarrod Roberts made a kick off. A collision led to Wallington getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Stephan Duff hit a great ball. Andy Noble fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Don Easley having to interfere. Calvin Dietz's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Allen Godfrey skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Wallington's goalkeeper Allen Godfrey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Don Easley showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andy Noble, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. If Jarrod Roberts had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
