Francis Marshall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Waldo Hinkle in the 5th minute of play. Francis Marshall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vicente Doyle, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Rolando Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colin Anthony in the 10th minute of the match. Tad Bruce in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rolando Palacios, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to Pekin FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Colin Anthony hit a great ball. In the 16th minute, Tad Bruce hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 17 minutes into the game, Waldo Hinkle was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eastchester's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pekin FC the free kick. Waldo Hinkle hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. If Waldo Hinkle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Pekin FC booed when Eastchester was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mickey Crowley didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Pekin FC's Reginald Abrams tried to score from far away in the 24th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 25th minute, one of Eastchester:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Eastchester. Tad Bruce who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Rolando Palacios when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 32nd minute, Waldo Hinkle ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Francis Marshall was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rolando Palacios took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Colin Anthony, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tad Bruce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Heriberto Dennis during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 46 played minutes Pekin FC got a freekick which was hit by Heriberto Dennis. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Waldo Hinkle was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Colin Anthony notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Eastchester's Rolando Palacios. Rolando Palacios was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. William Talley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eastchester's Rolando Palacios played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Colin Anthony in the 61st minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by William Talley during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. William Talley kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. Waldo Hinkle's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Francis Marshall read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 68th minute of play. Mickey Crowley hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Reginald Abrams, 70 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Val Hebert fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Francis Marshall having to interfere. Waldo Hinkle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Colin Anthony fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolando Palacios having to interfere. Alistair Travis kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After having played for 86 minutes, Val Hebert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eastchester's supporters crossed their fingers, but Val Hebert was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rolando Palacios showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Colin Anthony in the 89th minute of the match. In the 97th minute of the match Darrel Longoria sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rolando Palacios skillfully saved the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Eastchester players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pekin FC.
