Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kirk Ward kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Elliott Dawson got free with Scott Harper in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kirk Ward hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. In the 6th minute, Royce Carroll got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 8th minute of the match Emmitt Frazier sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Scott Harper skillfully saved the ball. Shawn Fletcher blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Desmond Stevens having to make a save. Scott Harper was a little too slow when Royce Carroll got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 24th minute. The score was now 1-0. Elliott Dawson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Scott Harper read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. Scott Harper made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Royce Carroll in the 31st minute of play. In the 37thth minute of the game Royce Carroll who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Welch's Scott Harper was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Ward Kiser had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Welch's Scott Harper proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Welch from getting a goal against them. If Shawn Fletcher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice moves Elliott Dawson could shoot a difficult shot in the 46th minute, which Scott Harper however easily saved by the left post.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Royce Carroll to make the kick off. Elliott Dawson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Scott Harper tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Welch's Scott Harper played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Royce Carroll in the 65th minute of play. Desmond Stevens showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Shawn Fletcher in the 67th minute of the match. Desmond Stevens showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shawn Fletcher, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. If Elliott Dawson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Desmond Stevens made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ward Kiser in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Welch's Kirk Ward got a free kick in the 81st minute. Scott Harper showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Royce Carroll in the 82nd minute of the match. If Kirk Ward had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fort Drum FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Welch for a fine match.
