Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Allen London got the match started through his kick off. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind South Glens Falls's goalkeeper Zachary Lackey, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 10 minutes into the match, South Glens Falls's goal looked a bit too open when Mohammad Wilcox came free, but Zachary Lackey reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. South Glens Falls's Zachary Lackey proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save South Glens Falls from getting a goal against them. The referee gave South Glens Falls a penalty, 21 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Edmundo Starnes, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alpha's Jerry Busby. 0-1. In the 24th match minute, Alpha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hayden Sexton to maneuver through the defense. When Edmundo Starnes came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the South Glens Falls fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edmundo Starnes couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Alpha getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Hector Hood hit a great ball. Eusebio Aguilera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Jerry Busby tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 30th minute Allen London shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerry Busby saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 32nd match minute, Alpha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alex Coker to maneuver through the defense. 33 minutes into the match, South Glens Falls's Edmundo Starnes broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 34th match minute, Alpha was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Lucero to maneuver through the defense. The corner ended in Edmundo Starnes almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Alpha's Jerry Busby did a great save. Jerry Busby didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Allen London went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. 46 minutes into the match, Alpha's goal looked a bit too open when Eusebio Aguilera came free, but Jerry Busby reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mohammad Wilcox made a kick off. When South Glens Falls's Allen London in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Alpha's goalie prevented a goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 56th minute, Mohammad Wilcox managed to get in a good position for a shot. Alpha's supporters rose to their feet, but Mohammad Wilcox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Zachary Lackey breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to South Glens Falls getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Eduardo Greenwood hit a great ball. After 59 played minutes, Alpha's Jon Sapp shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Zachary Lackey came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Alpha reached it. After 65 played minutes South Glens Falls got a freekick which was hit by Edward Harrison. Eusebio Aguilera in the 83rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jerry Busby, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The crowd rose to their feet as Allen London kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jerry Busby. That made the score 0-3 in the 88 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Alpha's zone, Eusebio Aguilera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jerry Busby came out of the goal and Eusebio Aguilera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. South Glens Falls played a much better game than Alpha and deserved their victory. The Alpha players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
