When Franklin Cornell fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Country Club's protests and gave Franklin Cornell a yellow card for diving instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diego Rocha in the 5th minute of play forced Country Club's goalkeeper Seth Goodman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Al Zaragoza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Charlton Bassett tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11th match minute, Northwest Harborcreek AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Darren Serrano to maneuver through the defense. Ray Gallegos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 13th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Alfonso MacMillan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Northwest Harborcreek AFC's Diego Rocha in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The supporters of Country Club booed when Northwest Harborcreek AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lloyd Busch didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the game, Country Club's Alfonso MacMillan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Charlton Bassett made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Diego Rocha sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 45 minutes, Diego Rocha managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Northwest Harborcreek AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Diego Rocha was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alfonso MacMillan to make the kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Diego Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Seth Goodman. Country Club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Diego Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Santo George received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Seth Goodman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Ray Gallegos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Country Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ray Gallegos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Charlton Bassett breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Santo George had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Northwest Harborcreek AFC's Adolfo Cox got a free kick in the 69th minute. Diego Rocha's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Seth Goodman read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alfonso MacMillan in the 76th minute of play forced Northwest Harborcreek AFC's goalkeeper Charlton Bassett to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Franklin Cornell hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. A collision led to Northwest Harborcreek AFC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Diego Rocha hit a great ball. Charlton Bassett showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alfonso MacMillan in the 82nd minute of the match. When Diego Rocha came up free with the goalie in the 85th minute, the Northwest Harborcreek AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Diego Rocha couldn't finish the play. 86 minutes into the match, Country Club's goal looked a bit too open when Santo George came free, but Seth Goodman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Northwest Harborcreek AFC's zone, Alfonso MacMillan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Charlton Bassett came out of the goal and Alfonso MacMillan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Charlton Bassett came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Country Club's Ray Gallegos. But to his dismay, Ray Gallegos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
