Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Jonah Holland started the match with the kick off. Sid Khan acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 3rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Caleb Luke. In the 4th minute, Benny Shipman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Geoffrey Abernathy sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With an all-out effort, Severna's Sid Khan threw himself towards the right post 9 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Gary Wetzel, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 14th minute, Jonah Holland got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 15th match minute, Severna was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Brent MacFarland to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Severna's Solomon Judd got a free kick in the 16th minute. Theron Epps was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 17th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 19th minute Jonah Holland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Teodoro Fields saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sid Khan made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Geoffrey Abernathy sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Geoffrey Abernathy in the 35th minute of play forced WC 86's goalkeeper Sid Khan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sid Khan came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Severna's Solomon Judd. But to his dismay, Solomon Judd quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyrus Goldberg during the 45th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Severna's Cyrus Goldberg got a free kick in the 45th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The wind increased when Gary Wetzel made the kick off in the second half. Geoffrey Abernathy fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sid Khan having to interfere. Sid Khan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gary Wetzel in the 59th minute of play. When Geoff Bergman fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored WC 86's protests and gave Geoff Bergman a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Severna booed when WC 86 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Geoff Bergman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gary Wetzel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sid Khan having to interfere. Kristopher Crews took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Teodoro Fields. Severna's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. WC 86's supporters stood up full of expectation in the 68th minute of the game, when Theron Epps after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Severna's goal. Theron Epps was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Gary Wetzel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Sid Khan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Severna's Gary Wetzel sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sid Khan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Gary Wetzel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Severna fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jonah Holland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zackary Groves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodoro Fields having to interfere. Gary Wetzel recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Geoff Bergman was shown his second yellow card after 96 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 99th minute, Geoffrey Abernathy got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Severna had won after a very even match.
