Zachary Salazar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 13th minute, Simon Connor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Robert Banks fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bo Ladd having to interfere. In the 18th minute, Brice Calvert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sulphur's Gerald Bower played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Markus Triplett in the 25th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Simon Connor notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sulphur's Gerald Bower. Gerald Bower was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Robert Banks had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. After 42 minutes, Brice Calvert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Sulphur and the Coudersport players grew even worse after the yellow card. Brice Calvert hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Giuseppe Abbott received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Gerald Bower tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Sulphur's zone, Simon Connor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gerald Bower came out of the goal and Simon Connor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Giuseppe Abbott had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Banks to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Coudersport's Phillip Bassett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gerald Bower narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After having played for 54 minutes, Zachary Salazar managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sulphur's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zachary Salazar was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jerold Valle hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Giuseppe Abbott in the 59th minute of play forced Sulphur's goalkeeper Gerald Bower to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Robert Banks in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bo Ladd saved Coudersport from getting behind. Phillip Bassett hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. In the 69th match minute, Coudersport was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Saul Goodson to maneuver through the defense. Jerold Valle didn't quite understand what happened when in the 71 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Bo Ladd showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Banks in the 74th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zachary Salazar in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Bo Ladd saved Coudersport from getting behind. In the 78th minute, Hugh Potter hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Simon Connor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gerald Bower having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Giuseppe Abbott during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Sulphur were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Coudersport's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Jerold Valle took the corner. After taking down the ball on Sulphur's corner Jerold Valle fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Bo Ladd quite easily take care of the ball. Coudersport's Bo Ladd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Banks in the 95th minute of play. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
